A Lecturer of Mingachevir State University Taught Classes to Uzbek Students

Fakhriya Mabudova, a lecturer at the Department of Foreign Languages of Mingachevir State University, has begun her teaching activities at Tashkent State Pedagogical University named after Nizami, one of Uzbekistan’s prestigious higher education institutions, within the framework of an exchange program.

On November 24, 2025, she started working at the Department of Methodology and Theory of the English Language of the Faculty of Philology, where she met with the head of the department, Durdona Saydazimova, and the faculty staff on her first day. During the meeting, extensive discussions were held regarding the class schedule, curriculum, syllabi, and methodological approaches applied at the faculty.

From the first days of the exchange program, Fakhriya Mabudova actively engaged in both scientific and pedagogical activities. On November 25, she participated in the republican scientific-practical conference titled “Problems and Innovations in the Theory and Practice of Language Education” held at the university and received a certificate related to the modern methodological innovations presented there. Following the conference, the MDU lecturer met with Vice-Rector for International Relations Dilnoza Kholmurodova, the dean of the Faculty of Philology, and representatives of the Embassy of the United States in Uzbekistan to exchange views on cooperation opportunities, academic mobility, and future joint projects.

The lecturer’s pedagogical activities in Uzbekistan continued intensively between November 25 and 27. During this period, she delivered several lessons on various topics within the courses “Language Aspects,” “Integrated Skills – Reading and Writing,” “Integrated Skills – Listening and Speaking,” as well as “Integrated Course on Foreign Language Teaching.” During the lessons, practical examples of approaches and methodologies applied in the Azerbaijani education system were presented to students.

On November 27, 2025, the lecturer also became acquainted with the main building and library of Tashkent State Pedagogical University named after Nizami. At the library, she explored modern educational resources, digital platforms, and international scientific databases related to language teaching.

It should be noted that Mingachevir State University places special importance on the development of international partnerships and continues to contribute to the professional development of lecturers, the acquisition of new academic experiences, and the modernization of the university’s educational environment through such collaborations.
