A series of seminars on student career development and labor market integration held at Mingachevir State University

On May 14, 2026, Mingachevir State University organized a series of seminars aimed at strengthening students’ personal and professional development, as well as enhancing their readiness for the labor market. The events, held by the University’s Internship and Career Department, covered the topics “Career Planning and Personal Potential Development” and “Labor Market and CV/Resume Preparation.”

The seminars were delivered by representatives of the Central Career Branch of the State Employment Agency – Chief Specialist of the Service Development Department Aytan Rashidli and Senior Specialist Arzu Khalilova. During the sessions, students were provided with comprehensive information on current labor market requirements, effective career planning, goal setting, assessment of individual skills and potential, and the key principles of preparing a strong and competitive CV/Resume.

Through interactive discussions, participants were informed about the importance of identifying their strengths, developing a personal growth plan, and systematically achieving long-term career goals. In addition, practical examples were used to explain how to present information in a CV strategically, highlight distinctive advantages, and avoid common mistakes.

The interactive format of the seminars contributed to the development of students’ analytical thinking, communication, and decision-making skills, enabling them to adapt more effectively to the evolving demands of the labor market. The importance of future-oriented skills, digital literacy, and a continuous professional development mindset was also emphasized throughout the training sessions.
