Training on “Agriculture and Energy” held at Mingachevir State University

On November 25, 2025, a training titled “Agriculture and Energy” was held at Mingachevir State University (MSU). The aim of the training was to discuss the possibilities of integration between the agriculture and energy sectors, present innovative approaches, exchange views on strengthening cooperation between the public and private sectors, and create a platform for new initiatives.

The event was opened with an introductory speech by Tarana Yusibova, Head of the Department of Physics and Ecology. In her speech, she emphasized the growing importance of the interaction between the agriculture and energy sectors in the modern era. She noted that expanding cooperation between these fields can contribute significantly to the application of innovative technologies, the promotion of sustainable development, and the implementation of new projects. T. Yusibova also highlighted that the ideas voiced, experiences shared, and partnerships established during the event would play an important role in shaping future development strategies. It was also noted that the discussions were expected not to remain limited to theoretical exchanges but to create a basis for concrete initiatives and projects.

Following the opening remarks, a video related to the topic was presented.

Within the framework of the training, Zinyat Mahmudova, a student of the EM23 group, delivered a presentation titled “Drip Irrigation and Energy Optimization,” while Sama Mustafayeva, a graduate student of the EMM25 group, presented on “Green Energy Startups in the Agricultural Sector.” The presentations provided detailed information about the efficient use of energy resources in agriculture, the application of innovative irrigation technologies, and the prospects of green energy solutions in the agricultural sector.

During the training, participants exchanged views on the topic, questions raised by the participants were answered, and new approaches to the integration of the agriculture and energy sectors were discussed.
