On 13 July 2026, Mingachevir State University hosted a meeting dedicated to developing cooperation with “Aze Tourism” LLC.

During the meeting, MSU Vice-Rector for Science and Innovation Natavan Namazova highlighted the importance of cooperation between the university and the tourism sector in developing students’ practical skills, familiarising them with modern service standards and preparing specialists who meet labour market requirements.

Mehbara Mammadova, Head of “Aze Tourism” LLC, expressed the company’s readiness to support the organisation of mentoring sessions, master classes, professional training programmes and industry internships for students.

As part of the meeting, Mingachevir State University and “Aze Tourism” LLC signed a Memorandum of Understanding. The document provides for the expansion of internship programmes, joint projects, professional development initiatives and career opportunities in the tourism and hospitality sectors.

The meeting concluded with an exchange of views on continuing the cooperation on the basis of a specific action plan.
