Training on “Corporate Social Responsibility and Environmental Accountability” held at Mingachevir State University

On March 4, 2025, a training session on “Corporate Social Responsibility and Environmental Accountability” was held at Mingachevir State University, organized by the Department of Physics and Ecology.

Students from the EM23, E23, and KM23 groups of the Faculty of Engineering participated in the training. The main objective of the event was to enhance students’ knowledge of corporate social responsibility principles, environmental responsibility, and sustainable development approaches.

The training was delivered by Gulmira Mammadova, a lecturer at the Department of Physics and Ecology. She provided detailed information on the key directions of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), the role of sustainable development within CSR, as well as environmental responsibility and reporting mechanisms of organizations.

During the event, interactive discussions were held with students, their questions were answered, and an exchange of ideas on the topic took place.

It should be noted that Mingachevir State University regularly organizes awareness-raising events aimed at strengthening students’ environmental awareness, promoting sustainable development principles, and enhancing their knowledge and skills in line with modern challenges.
