Graduate students of Mingachevir State University became acquainted with the energy production process at “Azerbaijan TPP”

Graduate students of Mingachevir State University, majoring in Organization and Management of Industry, visited “Azerbaijan Thermal Power Plant” LLC to familiarize themselves with the energy production process.

At first, the engineer of the power plant, Eyyub Musayev, who guided the students, introduced them to the territory of the station. Afterwards, the graduate students were provided with detailed information about the stages of electricity generation, the technological equipment used, and the main principles of the production process. It was noted that in a thermal power plant, energy production is carried out by converting thermal energy obtained from fuel combustion first into mechanical energy and then into electrical energy.

Later, the course instructor, Head of the Department of Organization and Management of Industry, Associate Professor Emiliya Huseynova, informed the students about the operating principles of thermal power plants, as well as their contribution to the country’s energy sector and economy, and answered their questions.

The practical visit was met with great interest by the graduate students.

It should be noted that at MSU, which is currently undergoing a modernization phase, special attention is paid to the development of various forms of university–industry cooperation in order to improve the quality of personnel training, enhance the content of education, and increase the effectiveness and result-oriented nature of research.
