A seminar on “Industry 4.0, Digital Transformation and Infrastructure Modernization” was held at Mingachevir State University

A scientific-practical seminar on “Industry 4.0, Digital Transformation and Infrastructure Modernization” was held at Mingachevir State University (MSU) on March 16, 2026.

The seminar was moderated by Narmin Ahmadova and Shabnam Nasirova.

The event began with opening remarks. Almaz Aliyeva, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, and Aida Mustafayeva, Head of the Department of Information Technologies, emphasized that digital transformation is one of the key drivers of economic development in the modern era and highlighted the importance of implementing innovative technologies.

Within the framework of the seminar, presentations on several актуal topics were delivered. Dinara Islamova presented on “Development Prospects of Smart Grid Technologies and Analysis of Implementation Mechanisms of Smart Energy Networks,” explaining efficient energy management approaches. Mahasti Aliyeva spoke on “Digital Examination Systems: Technical Requirements and Security Issues,” emphasizing the importance of security in electronic exam systems. Aysu Suleymanova delivered a presentation on “The Role and Future Prospects of Cloud Technologies in Information Technologies,” highlighting their role in data storage and processing. Gulay Bahramova presented on “Efficiency Comparison of Front-end Technologies,” comparing different technologies in terms of performance and user experience.

Discussions were held around the presented topics, and participants’ questions were answered.

It should be noted that, Mingachevir State University regularly organizes such scientific-practical seminars aimed at advancing research in Industry 4.0, digital transformation, and infrastructure modernization, promoting innovative approaches, and engaging young researchers in scientific activities.
