On June 25, 2025, a delegation led by Anar Eminov, Rector of Mingachevir State University (MSU), visited Mingachevir Tourism College (MTC). The meeting, organized to exchange views on potential cooperation, mutual interests, and future perspectives between the two educational institutions, was attended by the college leadership and members of the academic-administrative staff.

Opening the event, the Director of MTC, Kamal Ahmadov, highly appreciated Rector A. Eminov’s initiative to meet with the collective. He stated that such mutual relations would contribute positively to the quality of education and sustainable development in the region. K. Ahmadov provided detailed information regarding the college’s areas of activity, existing teaching resources, material and technical infrastructure, and the training of personnel in accordance with labor market demands.

Expressing his gratitude for the attention and invitation, Rector Anar Eminov emphasized the importance of cooperation between higher education institutions and secondary vocational education providers. He noted that joint steps taken in this direction will expand students’ access to continuous education opportunities and create more favorable conditions for their career planning and integration into the labor market.

The Rector specifically emphasized that joint projects—primarily in tourism specializations—along with training programs, exchange of experiences, and scientific-methodological cooperation, will yield mutual benefits.

During the meeting, which was held in a warm atmosphere, the participants’ questions were answered, and various proposals and initiatives regarding cooperation opportunities were discussed.

At the end of the meeting, the material and technical base of the college was reviewed, and the classrooms, laboratories, library, and other educational facilities were inspected.

It should be noted that such meetings play a vital role in strengthening ties between higher and secondary vocational education institutions, increasing educational efficiency, and promoting knowledge-based development in the region.
