Mingachevir State University was represented at the opening ceremony of the Erasmus + project.

On March 17, 2021, Mingachevir State University (MSU) was represented at the opening ceremony of the “New Courses in Geospatial Engineering for Climate Change Adaptation of Coastal Ecosystems” – GEOCLIC project, which was declared the winner within the “Erasmus +” program.

The event, organized online via the Zoom platform, was attended by Al-Farabi National University of Kazakhstan as a project coordinator, higher education institutions and relevant organizations representing Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan as beneficiaries, as well as universities from Germany, the Netherlands, Lithuania and Romania.

In their presentations, the participants gave detailed information about the enterprise they represent and the work planned for the implementation of the project.

The main goal of the project, which is strategically aimed at improving the Caspian ecosystem and covers 2020-2023, is to support the training of specialists in the field of ecology, coastal engineering and management.

It should be noted that currently MSU pays special attention to capacity building and active participation in student and teacher exchange projects within the Erasmus + program.
