Mingachevir State University hosted a startup competition on the theme of “Peaceful and Inclusive Societies” aimed at promoting social justice, inclusivity, and the values of peaceful coexistence, as well as developing students’ innovative thinking and project development skills in this direction. The event was organized jointly by the Faculty of Law and the Faculty of Engineering, providing participants with an opportunity to work on socially-oriented innovative solutions.

During the competition, participants developed projects focused on increasing inclusivity within society, ensuring social equality, integrating vulnerable groups, and fostering a peaceful social environment. The teams analyzed various social challenges and proposed innovative approaches, including technology-based platforms, educational solutions, social service models, and initiatives supporting inclusive policies.

The main goal of the event was to encourage participants not only to understand social issues but also to propose practical and sustainable solutions. In their projects, participants considered both social impact and long-term sustainability, creating balanced and applicable models.

Throughout the competition, participants worked in teams in an environment that promoted analytical thinking and creative approaches, developing their ideas into project-level proposals within a short period. This process strengthened their sense of social responsibility as well as their innovative thinking skills.

In the final stage, teams presented their startup projects to the jury. The evaluation criteria included the social relevance of ideas, innovativeness, implementation potential, and contribution to inclusivity. The most successful projects were recognized, and participants received recommendations for their further development.
