Training on “Safe Campus Environment and Risk Reduction” held at Mingachevir State University

On November 1, 2025, a training titled “Safe Campus Environment and Risk Reduction” was held at the Mingachevir Youth House, organized by the Department of Mechanics of Mingachevir State University (MSU). The main purpose of the training was to promote a safety culture within the university environment, inform participants about proper behavior during emergency situations, and raise awareness about the management of potential risks.

During the event, young lecturer of the Department of Mechanics, Majid Badalov, delivered a presentation prepared on the topic. Through slides, he provided detailed information about the importance of creating a safe campus environment, potential risk factors that may arise in educational institutions, and ways to prevent them.

In his presentation, he also explained issues related to the assessment of risks that may occur during emergency situations in the newly constructed university buildings and other facilities of MSU, rules of conduct in dangerous situations, rescue measures, and the proper organization of evacuation from the area.

Within the framework of the training, the importance of complying with safety rules and the necessity of conducting continuous awareness-raising activities in this field were emphasized to the participants.

At the end of the training, participants’ questions related to the topic were answered, and an exchange of views was held on ensuring a safe campus environment.
