Scientific Council Meeting Held at the Pedagogical Faculty of Mingachevir State University

The regular Scientific Council meeting scheduled for May was held at the Pedagogical Faculty of Mingachevir State University.

Opening the meeting with an introductory speech, the Chair of the Faculty Scientific Council informed the members about the agenda items. The first issue on the agenda concerned the current state of preparation for the spring examination session of the 2025–2026 academic year. In this regard, the Deputy Dean of the Faculty, Aygün Qadirova, delivered a report providing detailed information on the organization of examinations, requirements of regulatory documents, and ongoing preparatory work.

Subsequently, Aygün Qadirova presented a report on the outcomes of teaching and industrial practice conducted during the 2025–2026 academic year, highlighting students’ achievements during the practice period as well as the tasks ahead.

During the meeting, the Acting Head of the Department of Foreign Languages, Khayala Abdullayeva, provided extensive information on the teaching process of the “Foreign Language Skills” course over the past two years. Discussions were held regarding measures to improve the quality of instruction in this discipline.

The Head of the Department of Mathematics, Rashan Babayev, also delivered a presentation on the teaching process of the “Mathematical Analysis” course, including student performance levels, achieved results, and future development directions.

During the discussion of current issues, several points raised in the results of the student satisfaction survey conducted by the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Department were clarified, and opinions were exchanged on the proposals and comments made. In addition, the rules for organizing and conducting the spring examination session were discussed, and various proposals were put forward by department heads and Scientific Council members.

Appropriate decisions were adopted on the discussed issues, and the upcoming tasks were defined.
