The defense of master’s dissertations by graduate students of the Faculty of Economics and Management has been successfully completed at Mingachevir State University.

Organized by the Institute for Sustainable Energy and Regional Development operating under the university, the defense process covered three departments of the university and various fields of specialization.

At the meetings of the Specialized Scientific Councils, master’s dissertations were heard in the specialties of Business Administration, State and Municipal Administration, and Business Administration (MBA) under the Department of Business and Management; Finance, Business Administration, and Economics under the Department of Economics; and Electrical Power Engineering and Thermal Power Engineering under the Department of Energy.

During the defense process, the master’s students presented the results obtained on their research topics and answered questions from their scientific supervisors and council members. The submitted dissertations addressed topical issues related to modern economic challenges, management mechanisms, financial systems, regional development, energy efficiency, and engineering fields.

The high organizational level of the defenses makes an important contribution to the development of the scientific research environment at Mingachevir State University, the improvement of the quality of personnel training at the master’s level, and the strengthening of students’ professional competencies.
