A memorial corner has been established at Mingachevir State University in connection with the anniversary of the Khojaly genocide

At Mingachevir State University, a memorial corner was set up in the university foyer on the occasion of February 26 – the anniversary of the Khojaly genocide.

The memorial corner features books dedicated to the Khojaly genocide, publications reflecting historical facts, and photographs depicting the tragedy. Candles and carnations symbolizing the memory of the martyrs were also placed there, creating an atmosphere of commemoration.

The main purpose of establishing this corner is to once again draw the attention of the university community to the truth about the Khojaly genocide, strengthen historical memory among young people, and instill a spirit of patriotism.

The memorial corner was met with great interest by students. They became closely acquainted with the displayed publications and, by viewing the photographic materials reflecting the horrors of the genocide, respectfully commemorated the memory of the victims of the tragedy.

It should be noted that Mingachevir State University regularly organizes a series of events aimed at promoting national and moral values, studying historical truths, and educating young people in the spirit of patriotism.
