Within the framework of effective cooperation between Mingachevir State University and industrial enterprises, another event aimed at enhancing students’ practical knowledge has been organized. In this context, an educational training on “Alternative Energy Technologies” was held for university students at Azerbaijan TPP LLC.

The training combined both academic and practical approaches. Nigar Rzazade, a lecturer from the Department of Energy at MSU, provided detailed information on the role of alternative energy sources in the modern world, their environmental advantages, and current global trends in this field.

Following this, Mazahir Verdiyev, Head of Unit No. 1 at Azerbaijan TPP LLC, spoke about efficient energy use in industrial enterprises and ongoing technological innovations.

Particular attention during the training was paid to the following topics:

• Methods of utilizing solar, wind, and biomass energy;
• Prospects for the application of alternative energy technologies in Azerbaijan and the region;
• Optimization of fuel balance and innovative solutions in thermal power plants.

At the end of the session, students’ questions were answered, followed by an extensive exchange of views on the topic.
