Students of Mingachevir State University Conduct Environmental Clean-Up Campaign on the Shore of the Mingachevir Reservoir

An environmental clean-up campaign was organized on the shore of the Mingachevir Reservoir with the participation of students from Mingachevir State University (MSU). The main purpose of the campaign was to draw attention to the protection of water bodies, increase young people’s environmental responsibility in the field of environmental protection, and promote awareness regarding proper waste sorting practices.

During the clean-up activity, students collected various types of waste along the shoreline and sorted them according to their categories. Participants were also informed about the environmental impact of plastic, paper, and other types of waste, the importance of recycling, and the protection of water resources.

The event holds significant importance within the framework of the university’s “Green Campus” initiatives in terms of promoting environmental sustainability, fostering environmentally conscious behavior, and encouraging students’ participation in socio-ecological activities.

MSU will continue implementing various projects and initiatives aimed at environmental protection, efficient use of water resources, and ecological awareness in the future as well.
