The Memorandum of Cooperation signed between Mingachevir State University and the Azerbaijan Corporate Businessmen Association is of great importance in terms of expanding the university’s strategic partnership relations with the business community, increasing professional development opportunities for students and graduates, strengthening their integration into the labour market, and forming a career ecosystem oriented towards sustainable development.
Within the framework of the Memorandum, it is envisaged to develop mutual relations between Mingachevir State University and 146 enterprises and organizations that are members of the Azerbaijan Corporate Businessmen Association, as well as to more closely connect the university’s academic, scientific, innovative, and human capital potential with the corporate sector. This cooperation creates new prospects for students and graduates in terms of access to internship programmes, career and employment opportunities, professional training, mentoring, networking, joint projects, and development platforms based on the skills of the future.
The cooperation will enable MSU students to become more closely acquainted with the challenges of the real sector, corporate governance culture, digital transformation, innovation, the green economy, responsible business approaches, and the modern requirements of the labour market. At the same time, important opportunities will be created to connect university graduates with enterprises and organizations relevant to their qualifications and skills, support their formation as competitive specialists, and strengthen their professional development trajectories.
The Memorandum is significant not only in terms of expanding career and employment opportunities, but also in terms of elevating university–industry cooperation to a qualitatively new stage. This partnership will contribute to aligning curricula with the real needs of the labour market, developing students’ practical skills, integrating the business environment into university life, and connecting research and innovation initiatives with the corporate sector.
Through this cooperation, Mingachevir State University further strengthens the development of a student-oriented, inclusive, results-driven, and future-oriented higher education environment. It should be noted that the 146 enterprises and organizations that are members of the Azerbaijan Corporate Businessmen Association cover various areas of the economy.
