A scientific-practical training on “Mountain Ecosystems and Sensitive Natural Zones” was held at Mingachevir State University, delivered by Natavan Valiyeva, a lecturer at the Department of Physics and Ecology.
The main objective of the training was to provide students with knowledge about the characteristics of mountain ecosystems, their formation processes, and the importance of protecting sensitive natural zones.
During the training, detailed information was presented on the stages of mountain landscape formation, their geomorphological features, and the main factors influencing their development. Particular attention was given to the role of tectonic processes, climatic factors, erosion, and denudation in shaping mountain landscapes.
The session included interactive discussions with students, where their questions were answered and explanations were supported with practical approaches.
At the end of the training, it was noted that students developed important knowledge and skills related to mountain ecosystems, as well as the protection and sustainable use of landscapes.
It should be noted that Mingachevir State University regularly organizes scientific-practical and awareness-raising events aimed at environmental protection, sustainable ecosystem management, and strengthening ecological awareness.
