Info Session Held at Mingachevir State University within the Framework of “Startup School 4”

The next meeting held within the framework of the “Startup School 4: Five Continents – 500 Startups” program of the “Enterprise Azerbaijan” portal, operated by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication, took place online with the participation of the academic staff and students of Mingachevir State University.

During the meeting, methodologies related to startup formation and development were discussed, and participants’ questions were answered.

Head of the “Enterprise Azerbaijan” portal, Isa Gasimov, noted that venture funds and professional mentors from leading global innovation ecosystems have been involved in the “Startup School 4” project. Key international partners from the global ecosystem include “Synapses Ventures”, “TechDev Academy”, and “One Bsc Gate” (USA); “Silk Road High Tech Park Association” (China); “Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Board of Investment and Trade” (Pakistan); “The Caucasus-Asia Center” (India); ATUIAB (Uzbekistan); “DELPHI LTD” (Madagascar); “New Mansoura University” (Egypt); “Leadership and Good Governance Institute” and “Ethiopian Public Service University” (Ethiopia, Africa); “MH INSPIRES PTY LTD” (Australia); “LICORNE GULF investment” (Qatar); “Deep Tech Foundry” and “Bold Future Global” (Malta); “The Brutally Honest Ecosystem” (Finland); “BeHumbo” (Estonia); “BuzzFactory” (Russia); OSTIM Technical University, Cappadocia Technopark, Nigde University Technopark, “Fauna Venture Studio” (Türkiye), and other institutions.

The program’s local partners include the Intellectual Property Agency, Economic Zones Development Agency, “Caucasus Ventures”, “SABAH.HUB”, “Innoland” Incubation and Acceleration Center, Agrarian Innovation Center, “Founder Club”, “Yeni Fikir”, “Coders Azerbaijan”, “BERC&Partners”, “Innovation Management and TRIZ Institute” LLC, as well as media partners “Real TV”, “Report” Independent Information Agency, “Trend” News Agency, and “Edumap” Education Portal.

One of the important elements of the project is the partnership established with “TEI Forum 2026” (Trade, Export & Innovation Forum). It is planned that the “Demo Day” event, which represents the final stage of the “Startup School 4” project, will be organized on October 30–31, 2026, within the framework of “TEI Forum 2026” at the Baku Congress Center, sharing the same venue and dates. This means that startups participating in the “Demo Day” event will have a unique opportunity to establish direct connections with more than 500 entrepreneurs, investors, and business representatives, create potential partnerships, and expand investment opportunities.

Registration for the “Startup School 4” program continues until May 15.
