Teachers of Mingachevir State University participated in academic mobility programs at prestigious higher education institutions in the Republic of Türkiye within the framework of international academic exchange. During the two-week visit held between March 31 and April 15, 2026, lecturers from the university’s Departments of Economics and Management engaged in academic experience exchange activities and closely familiarized themselves with new educational and research environments at foreign universities.

Within the framework of the “Orhun Exchange Program,” lecturer of the Department of Economics, Kemale Karimova, participated in academic activities at Hacettepe University located in Ankara, while lecturer of the Department of Management, Mushfig Huseynov, took part in academic programs at Istanbul Commerce University in Istanbul. The lecturers held meetings with academic staff of the host universities, attended relevant classes, and observed the organization of the educational process.

During the visit, the lecturers studied advanced practices related to teaching and scientific research environments and exchanged views on opportunities for mutual cooperation. In addition, meetings with various faculties and structural divisions focused on the development of academic relations, implementation of joint research initiatives, and future collaboration prospects.

International academic mobility initiatives play an important role in expanding cooperation among higher education institutions, promoting scientific and pedagogical experience exchange, and supporting the integration of universities into the global academic environment. Mingachevir State University continuously supports such initiatives by encouraging the participation of academic staff in international programs and giving special importance to the development of interuniversity partnerships.

It should be noted that the visit was organized within the framework of an academic exchange initiative implemented among higher education institutions of Turkic states and contributes to strengthening the international cooperation strategy of Mingachevir State University.
