On February 26, 2026, the Rector of Mingachevir State University, Anar Eminov, along with the academic staff, students, and master’s students, visited the Mingachevir City Martyrs’ Alley and respectfully commemorated the cherished memory of the martyrs on the occasion of the 34th anniversary of the Khojaly genocide.

During the visit, bouquets of flowers were laid in front of the corner dedicated to the victims of the genocide, prayers were offered in their memory, and their sacred memory was honored with deep respect and reverence.

It should be noted that every year Mingachevir State University organizes a series of commemorative events in connection with the anniversary of the Khojaly genocide, and awareness-raising meetings and discussions are held among students.
