Organized by the Department of Economics of Mingachevir State University, a master class titled “Economic Determinants of Azerbaijan’s National Security Strategy” was delivered by Amal Hasanli, Senior Lecturer at Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction and PhD in Economics.

The main purpose of the master class was to enhance the theoretical and practical knowledge of students and academic staff regarding economic security, national development strategy, economic resilience, and the impact of global economic processes on national security policies.

During the event, the economic foundations of national security strategy, ensuring economic resilience, energy security, financial stability, human capital development, and the impact of global economic challenges on countries’ economic and security policies were comprehensively analyzed. In addition, detailed discussions were held on Azerbaijan’s modern economic development model, the role of economic mechanisms in safeguarding national interests, and strategic approaches to sustainable development.

In his speech, Amal Hasanli emphasized that economic security is one of the fundamental components of national development, highlighting that flexible economic governance, efficient resource utilization, energy policy, and investment in human capital play a crucial role in the long-term development of countries within an evolving global economic environment.

The master class was attended by the university’s academic staff and students. As part of the event, an interactive exchange of ideas was conducted around the topic, participants’ questions were addressed, and current issues related to economic security were widely discussed.
