Within the framework of the effective cooperation between Mingachevir State University and industrial enterprises, another awareness-raising event was successfully organized. A practical training on “Technical Analysis of Hydropower Systems” was conducted at “Azerbaijan TPP” LLC for students majoring in Energy Engineering at the university.
The main objective of the training was to enable students to apply the theoretical knowledge acquired in the classroom to real industrial environments and to develop their skills in analyzing the technical performance of modern hydropower facilities.
During the event, Qadir Mammadli, an employee of “Azerbaijan TPP” LLC, delivered a detailed presentation covering the following key topics:
- The technological scheme of hydroelectric power plants and modern methods of converting water energy into electrical energy;
- Measuring the efficiency of hydraulic structures, assessing the operational condition of equipment, and minimizing technical losses;
- New control technologies applied in hydropower systems and their impact on the stability of the energy system.
The interactive training format allowed students to closely observe the operation of the plant and receive professional answers to their questions regarding the management and technical aspects of hydropower systems. As a result of the training, students gained initial practical skills in the technical analysis of complex energy systems.
It was emphasized that such trainings play a crucial role in preparing future engineering specialists according to labor market requirements, enhancing their professional skills, and strengthening the integration between industrial enterprises and the university.
