An awareness-raising training titled “Quality and Standardization in Responsible Production” was held at Mingachevir State University (MSU), organized by the Department of Economics.

The main objective of the training was to inform participants about the importance of ensuring quality in modern production processes, operating in accordance with international standards, and promoting sustainable development approaches.

During the training, participants were provided with comprehensive information on key issues such as improving the quality of products and services, implementing international standards in production processes, efficient use of resources, and ensuring consumer satisfaction. It was emphasized that in the modern economic environment, effective quality management and standardization processes play a crucial role in increasing the competitiveness of enterprises.

Within the framework of the event, participants were introduced to practical approaches related to the implementation of quality management systems in enterprises, the formation of responsible production principles, and the organization of production activities in accordance with international standards. Discussions were also held on applying innovative approaches in production processes, using resources efficiently, and establishing production models in line with the principles of sustainable development.

During the training, particular emphasis was placed on the importance of responsible production and consumption principles within the framework of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It was noted that ensuring quality in production processes, applying standards, and using resources efficiently contribute significantly to the implementation of SDG 12 – Responsible Consumption and Production.

It should be noted that such awareness-raising events held at Mingachevir State University are of great importance in enhancing the knowledge of students and young professionals about modern economic approaches, quality management, and sustainable development principles.
