On February 14, 2022, employees of the Department of Physics and Ecology, Faculty of Engineering, Mingachevir State University (MSU), a group of students and masters studying ecology and environmental engineering at the Corn Processing Enterprise (CPC), operating under the auspices of “Azmade Group LLC in Oguz LLC”) were on the tour.
The tour was part of the New Geospatial Engineering Courses for Adaptation of Coastal Ecosystems to Climate Change (GEOCLIC) project, implemented under the European Union’s Erasmus+ program.
During the tour, a meeting was held with the staff of CPC LLC.
Expressing gratitude for the warm welcome, conditions and attention created, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Engineering of Mingachevir State University Almaz Aliyeva spoke about the importance of such excursions in training engineers in accordance with modern labor market requirements and wished them sustainability.
Speaking about the recent work done to modernize MSU, Tarana Yusibova, Head of the Department of Physics and Ecology, noted that various formats of events implemented within the GEOCLIC project, as well as excursions, cooperation with enterprises in the region have created ample opportunities to improve the quality of staff training.
It should be noted that MSU, which is currently in the process of modernization, pays special attention to the organization of relevant info-tours and excursions, which contribute to improving the quality of staff training, increasing the outlook, practical knowledge and skills of students.
