Scientific Conference of the Student Scientific Society of the Faculty of Economics and Management Held at MDU within the Framework of the “Year of the Constitution and Sovereignty”

On November 21, 2025, a scientific conference of the Student Scientific Society of the Faculty of Economics and Management was held at Mingachevir State University within the framework of the “Year of the Constitution and Sovereignty,” dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Before the event, the cherished memory of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the Motherland was honored with a one-minute silence.

The conference, organized in the assembly hall of the university’s second academic building, was opened by Acting Dean of the Faculty Malahat Rahimova, who welcomed the participants and spoke about the significance of the event. Afterwards, Rector’s Advisor Jeyhun Mahmudov delivered a speech emphasizing the opportunities the conference created for students in various scientific fields.

During the event, presentations covering different areas of economics and management were delivered, followed by discussions on the topics presented.

  • Seljan Eyubzade — “A Statistical Overview of the Results of the Economic Policy of Independent Azerbaijan”
  • Mahammad Yunuslu — “Research on the Tourism Regression Potential of Kalbajar District”
  • Faryad Seyidahmadova — “Keynes Who Changed World Statistics”
  • Gulay Hasanova — “Martyrs’ Alley – Evaluation of Dark Tourism Potential”

The conference was of significant importance in terms of increasing students’ interest in scientific research activities in the fields of economics and management, developing their analytical thinking skills, and expanding the academic discussion environment on modern management approaches.

It should be noted that scientific, social, and educational events within the framework of the “Year of the Constitution and Sovereignty” continue consistently at Mingachevir State University.
