On June 11, 2026, Mingachevir State University hosted another series of information sessions dedicated to study abroad opportunities for students within the framework of the “Internationalization, Innovation and Sustainable Development Week”.
Organized in line with the university’s internationalization strategy, the information sessions were held in a hybrid format and delivered online via the Microsoft Teams platform. The main purpose of the events was to increase students’ awareness of study abroad opportunities, international exchange, scholarship programs and the global academic environment, as well as to support the formation of their future academic and career plans.
During the information sessions, a video featuring the impressions of MSU students who had participated in international exchange programs was presented.
The first session of the day was held with the participation of representatives of INTI International University, one of Malaysia’s leading higher education institutions. During the session, detailed information was provided about study opportunities at INTI, bachelor’s and master’s programs, admission procedures, campus life, and academic and social support services offered to students.
The presentation also highlighted Study Tour programs and student mobility opportunities. Participants were informed about the advantages of gaining international experience, the stages of preparation for studying abroad, choosing the right program, academic adaptation, and key aspects of integration into an international education environment.
As part of the session, videos reflecting the experiences of students studying in Spain, the Czech Republic and Türkiye were also shown. The materials presented helped participants gain a broader understanding of higher education systems in different countries, the international academic environment and student life. The personal experiences of students studying abroad were received as a motivating example for young people interested in this field.
Later, another information session dedicated to study and scholarship opportunities in Germany was held by the German Academic Exchange Service — DAAD. During the session, Claudio Kasperl delivered a presentation on Germany’s higher education system, admission procedures, application rules and existing academic opportunities for international students.
In addition, DAAD’s areas of activity, scholarship programs at the master’s level, summer schools, selection criteria and funding opportunities were brought to the attention of the students. Practical recommendations were provided for young people interested in studying in Germany, and participants’ questions were answered.
Both information sessions were met with great interest by the students. The events were marked by active discussions, question-and-answer sessions and interactive exchange of views.
It should be noted that Mingachevir State University continues to implement measures aimed at expanding students’ access to international education opportunities, supporting their academic and professional development, and promoting their integration into the global education space. Such information sessions, as an important part of MSU’s internationalization policy, contribute to the development of students as globally minded, competitive specialists equipped with modern skills.
