Training Program of “Cyber Summer School 2026” Gets Underway

The first day of the training program within the V “Cyber Summer School 2026” cyber summer camp, organized by the Azerbaijan Cybersecurity Organizations Association (ACOA), was successfully held.

On the first training day of the camp, held in Mingachevir, participants took part in theoretical and practical sessions covering the main areas of cybersecurity in the “Blue Team” group, taught in Azerbaijani, and the “Red Team” group, taught in English.

As part of the training sessions, both groups attended classes on “Web Technologies,” “Network Fundamentals,” “Internet Technologies and Architecture,” and “Cyber Threat Intelligence and Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT).”

The sessions were delivered by Elgun Bakhtiyaroghlu, founder of TEXIO Academy and a representative of the Cyber Diaspora established at the initiative of ACOA, as well as employees of the National Cybersecurity Center of the State Security Service.

During the training, participants gained theoretical knowledge and worked on practical assignments related to the fundamentals of network and web technologies, internet architecture, analysis of cyber threats, and methods of gathering intelligence from open sources. At the end of the sessions, an interactive quiz was organized to reinforce the knowledge acquired by the participants.

It should be noted that the main purpose of the V “Cyber Summer School 2026,” held on July 6-11, is to contribute to the development of professional human capital in the field of cybersecurity in the country and to strengthen young people’s theoretical knowledge and practical skills.

In the coming days, the camp will continue with theoretical and practical training sessions, team assignments, and other development-oriented activities in various areas of cybersecurity.
