On May 25, 2026, a seminar titled “Great Thinkers: But Ordinary Thinking is Forbidden!” was held at Mingachevir State University, organized by the Department of Mathematics and delivered by Bahman Qudsi, Senior Lecturer at Baku Engineering University.

During the seminar, students were provided with comprehensive information about the relationship between mathematics, philosophy, and music, as well as how these fields complement one another. In his speech, Bahman Qudsi presented interesting examples highlighting the role of mathematics in everyday life, its influence on various fields, and its practical significance.

The seminar, which continued with interactive discussions, was met with great interest by the participants and created an opportunity for students to exchange ideas on the topic.

The event concluded with the presentation of a special musical composition by Bahman Qudsi reflecting the harmony between mathematics and music.
