On March 17, 2026, the staff of Mingachevir State University paid visits to the families of martyrs on the occasion of the Novruz and Ramadan holidays.

As part of the visits, tribute and respect were extended to the families of the University’s martyred graduates, the heroes who lost their lives during the April 2016 battles, as well as a number of martyr families across the city of Mingachevir.

During the visits, the University representatives conveyed the sincere congratulations and warm wishes of the MDU leadership to the families, sharing heartfelt messages that contributed to the festive spirit. It was emphasized that the cherished memory of the martyrs is always held in the highest regard and that care and attention towards their families remain among the key priorities of state policy.

Holiday gifts were also presented to the families by the University staff.

The families of the martyrs expressed their gratitude to the country’s leadership for the high level of care and attention shown to them.

It should be noted that such initiatives carried out by Mingachevir State University are consistently and purposefully implemented to promote social welfare, encourage inclusive values, and enhance care for vulnerable groups in society.
