A training on “University–Industry Collaboration and Practical Employment Models” was held at Mingachevir State University

A training on “University–Industry Collaboration and Practical Employment Models” was organized at Mingachevir State University (MSU) with the aim of strengthening the connection between education and industry, supporting students in entering the labor market more effectively, and increasing awareness of practical employment opportunities.

The event was initiated by the Lifelong Learning School of the university and was designed for students, young professionals, and other participants interested in career development.

During the training, participants were provided with comprehensive information on the role and importance of collaboration between universities and industrial enterprises within the modern education system. Particular emphasis was placed on applying theoretical knowledge in real work environments, student participation in internship programs, joint projects with industry partners, and the implementation of dual education models.

Within the session, participants were introduced to examples of university–industry collaboration from different countries and learned how such models contribute to enhancing youth employment opportunities. Practical approaches related to organizing internship programs, planning job readiness processes, and developing skills aligned with labor market demands were also presented.

The training was conducted in an interactive format, allowing participants to ask questions and exchange ideas with experts. This contributed to a more conscious approach to career planning and a better understanding of real labor market conditions.

It should be noted that, Mingachevir State University regularly organizes such awareness-raising trainings aimed at strengthening university–industry collaboration, enhancing students’ practical skills, and supporting their integration into the labor market.
