“Social Health Innovation Competition” held at MDU

The “Social Health Innovation Competition” has been held at Mingachevir State University (MDU).

The competition was jointly organized by the Department of Humanities and the Department of Information Technologies. Its main objective was to strengthen public health, promote a healthy lifestyle, and support the development of innovative approaches in this field.

Within the competition, participants analyzed existing public health challenges and developed innovative projects focusing on prevention, awareness-raising, and digital healthcare solutions. Teams presented ideas related to promoting healthy lifestyles, early disease detection through digital tools, mental health protection, improving nutrition habits, and increasing access to healthcare services.

One of the key features of the event was the integration of social health topics with technology to develop practical solutions. Participants considered the application of mobile apps, data platforms, and AI-based support systems while designing their projects.

During the competition, teams worked collaboratively in an intensive environment, developing and refining their ideas into structured presentations within a short period. This process contributed significantly to enhancing their analytical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

At the final stage, participants presented their projects to the jury panel. The evaluation was based on criteria such as innovation, impact on public health, feasibility, and sustainability. The most successful projects were recognized, and participants received recommendations for further development.

It should be noted that the “Social Health Innovation Competition” is an important initiative that promotes social responsibility among students, encourages innovative approaches to public health issues, and contributes to the development of a digital health and social innovation ecosystem at the university.
