The training, dedicated to current issues in the fields of law and human resources, aimed to enhance the knowledge and skills of students and staff. The session, titled “Transparency and Human Rights Standards in the Supply Chain,” was conducted by the university’s legal specialist Polad Atayev and Human Resources Department specialist Arzu Əlləzova.
The main objective of the training was to provide participants with comprehensive information on the application of transparency principles in supply chains, the protection of human rights standards, and the existing legal framework in this field. Key topics discussed included the protection of workers’ rights, ethical conduct, transparent management mechanisms, and strengthening corporate social responsibility.
During the session, Polad Atayev emphasized the importance of integrating human rights principles into supply chain management, noting that adherence to these principles plays a crucial role in reducing legal risks and enhancing institutional credibility.
