Organization and Evaluation of Examinations

The Department of Examination Organization, Monitoring and Assessment is a structural unit of Mingachevir State University that coordinates the organization, administration, monitoring, and evaluation of examinations, which constitute an integral part of the educational process. The Department ensures that examinations at the University are conducted transparently, objectively, and in accordance with existing regulatory documents.

In its activities, the Department is guided by the legislation of the Republic of Azerbaijan, normative documents of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Charter of Mingachevir State University, and orders and instructions issued by the University administration.

Work carried out in the department

The main areas of activity of the Department include:

Coordinating the organization and administration of examination sessions at the University;
Participating in the preparation of examination schedules and supervising their implementation;
Ensuring that examinations are conducted in accordance with established regulations;
Monitoring the examination process;
Supervising the transparency and objectivity of examinations;
Receiving and reviewing students’ applications related to the examination process;
Systematizing and analyzing examination results;
Coordinating activities related to academic debts and retake examinations;
Participating in the prompt resolution of issues arising during the examination process;
Participating in the implementation of electronic examination and assessment systems;
Preparing and presenting statistical data on examination results;
Submitting reports on examination results to the University administration.

Making proposals for improving the examination process.

Rights of the Department

Requesting and obtaining information and documents related to examination organization from the University’s structural units;
Supervising the activities of staff involved in the examination process;
Making proposals for improving the examination process;
Proposing appropriate measures in cases of violations of examination regulations.
