A training on “Water-Saving Technologies in Industry” was held at Mingachevir State University

A training on the topic “Water-Saving Technologies in Industry” was organized at “Azerbaijan TPP” LLC through the joint organization of the Departments of Business and Management, and Physics and Ecology of Mingachevir State University.

The training was attended by lecturers and students of both departments, Ulker Pashayeva, advisor of the Environmental Regulation and Environmental Awareness sector of the Regional Department of Ecology and Natural Resources No. 8, Mustafa Karimov, chief engineer of the Mingachevir Water-Canal Department, Azad Musayev, head of the Chemical Department of “Azerbaijan TPP” LLC, his deputy Larisa Heydarova, Ramiz Gasimov, head of the Technical Production Department, Agil Mahmudov, leading engineer for occupational safety, and Javid Abbasov, head of the Chemical Laboratory.

The event was opened with an introductory speech by Associate Professor Emiliya Huseynova, Head of the Department of Business and Management. Within the framework of the training, presentations on the topic were delivered by senior lecturers Tarana Safarova and Ulviyya Ashurova from the Department of Business and Management, and Gulmira Mammadova from the Department of Physics and Ecology.

During the discussions, Mustafa Karimov, Ramiz Gasimov, and Ulker Pashayeva shared their suggestions and recommendations, and answered questions of interest to the participants.

Within the training, the importance of efficient use of water resources in industry, the application of water-saving technologies, and approaches aligned with sustainable development goals were emphasized.

It should be noted that, Mingachevir State University regularly organizes such practice-oriented trainings and meetings aimed at strengthening cooperation with industrial enterprises, enhancing students’ practical knowledge and skills, and promoting sustainable development principles.
