A Memorandum of Cooperation aimed at the development of academic and institutional collaboration has been signed between Mingachevir State University (MDU) and INTI International University.
The memorandum is intended to strengthen mutual relations between the parties in the fields of higher education, scientific research, innovation, and international academic cooperation.
As part of the memorandum, Samira Ahmadova, Head of the International Relations and Cooperation Department of MDU, paid a business visit to INTI International University in Malaysia.
During the visit, Samira Ahmadova closely familiarized herself with the university’s material and technical resources, modern teaching infrastructure, laboratories, digital learning environments, innovation and research capabilities, as well as campus management approaches. Detailed information was obtained regarding the key components of the university’s education and governance model, its student-centered approaches, and the practices implemented to foster an international academic environment.
Within the framework of the meetings, discussions were held on opportunities for cooperation in student and academic staff exchange, joint scientific research initiatives, innovation and technology transfer, digital transformation, experience sharing, and institutional development.
The cooperation also envisions joint activities in areas such as student and faculty mobility, collaborative research initiatives, exchange of teaching and training experiences, digital transformation, development of innovation ecosystems, and sharing of modern approaches in higher education.
It was noted that, in the context of global challenges, strengthening inter-university partnerships, expanding knowledge and experience exchange, developing international academic networks, and implementing innovative education models are of great importance for improving the quality of higher education.
The signed memorandum between MDU and INTI International University is regarded as a significant step toward strengthening the university’s internationalization strategy, developing a modern and competitive educational environment, promoting innovation-driven initiatives, and expanding global academic cooperation opportunities.
In the next phase, cooperation between the parties is expected to be deepened through joint projects, academic mobility programs, research collaboration, innovation initiatives, and institutional development.
