On April 15–16, 2026, a delegation from Mingachevir State University participated in an international scientific event held in the Republic of Türkiye and conducted important meetings aimed at expanding new cooperation opportunities within the framework of the visit.

Director of the Institute of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Technologies at MSU, Aida Mustafayeva, and Associate Professor of the Department of Humanities, Asim Mammadov, took part in the “Akçakoca Tourism and Economy Symposium” organized by Duzce University. During the symposium, they joined discussions related to the development of tourism and economy, digitalization, and innovative management approaches. The exchange of ideas during the event proved beneficial in terms of studying new approaches in areas relevant to the university.

Subsequently, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between Mingachevir State University and Duzce University. In addition, the parties discussed future priority areas of cooperation, including the expansion of scientific research activities, organization of academic exchange programs, implementation of joint projects, and strengthening partnership in the field of innovation.

At the same time, the delegation became acquainted with the modern scientific research infrastructure of the Engineering Faculty of Duzce University. The laboratories established in various engineering fields and the innovative environment attracted attention in terms of organizing practice-oriented education and developing university–industry integration.

Furthermore, the delegation observed the university’s advanced laboratories and innovation ecosystem, which stood out for their contribution to strengthening applied education and enhancing cooperation between academia and industry.

Overall, the visit was marked by significant outcomes in terms of expanding the international cooperation ties of Mingachevir State University and studying advanced international practices.
