New Opportunity for Future Finance and IT Specialists: Cooperation Memorandum Signed Between Mingachevir State University and Rabitabank

On April 9, 2026, a cooperation Memorandum was signed between Mingachevir State University and Rabitabank. In connection with the signing ceremony, a delegation led by the Rector of MSU, Anar Eminov, visited the head office of Rabitabank.

Within the framework of the meeting, mutual cooperation opportunities between the parties were discussed, and the importance of expanding university–industry relations was emphasized. Rector Anar Eminov and Chairman of the Board of Rabitabank Aydin Huseynov exchanged extensive views on cooperation directions.

The signed Memorandum aims to develop cooperation between the university and the banking sector, enhance students’ practical knowledge and skills, and support their integration into the labor market.

According to the document, cooperation will cover the following areas:

  • organization of seminars and training programs on financial literacy, banking, and digital financial systems;
  • implementation of joint social and innovative projects;
  • cooperation in information technologies, cybersecurity, and fintech, including the organization of trainings, hackathons, and competitions;
  • organization of career days, support for recruitment processes, and professional development consultations to increase graduate employment opportunities.

Within the framework of the meeting, discussions were also held regarding the presentation of real topics related to banking, digital solutions, and financial technologies to the newly established “Research Topic Pool Platform” at MSU, the appointment of scientific supervisors for these topics, as well as the improvement of educational programs in relevant specialties, expansion of practice-oriented modules, and development of curricula aligned with industry demands.

It was noted that the activities to be implemented within the framework of the cooperation would make a significant contribution to enriching students’ theoretical knowledge with practical skills, supporting their professional development, and preparing them as specialists who meet the demands of the modern labor market.
