From March 21 to 25, 2026, the “Novruz 2026” camp was organized for employees of higher, secondary specialized, and vocational education institutions at the “Education Recreation Center” located in Nabran by the Republican Committee of the Trade Union of Education Workers (ETUI), a member organization of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation (ATUC).

Covering the holiday period of Ramadan and Novruz, the camp was attended by 11 staff members of Mingachevir State University. Overall, nearly 800 education workers representing various regions of the country were involved in the camp, which was held in two stages.

At the opening ceremony of the first stage, Deputy Chairman of the ETUI Republican Committee Mirza Jafarzade delivered a speech, conveying the holiday greetings of Chairman Araz Pashayev on the occasion of the holy Ramadan and Novruz holidays, and wished the participants a pleasant отдых and success in their future activities.

Within the framework of the camp program, a rich and diverse range of activities was organized for participants. The program was aimed at promoting national and cultural values, as well as supporting the professional development of education workers. Various cultural and entertainment events reflecting the ancient traditions of Novruz were held as part of the celebrations.

At the same time, trainings and seminars on актуal topics with the participation of well-known Azerbaijani scholars and experts were planned during the camp.

It should be noted that such initiatives are of great importance in improving the social well-being of education workers, ensuring the efficient use of their leisure time, and supporting their professional development.
