A seminar titled “Natural Sciences: From Laboratory to Real Life” was held at Mingachevir State University (MSU) within the framework of the “Meeting with School Students” project, jointly organized by the Sustainable Development and Regional Innovation Research Center (SDRIRC) and the Mingachevir City Education Sector.

As part of the “Year of Solidarity for a Green World,” a group of students from Secondary School No. 20 in Mingachevir visited the university. The seminar, organized with the initiative of the Department of Physics and Ecology, offered students the opportunity to observe real-time experiments conducted in MSU’s Geolab and Chemistry laboratories. The Head of the Department, Təranə Yusibova, provided comprehensive information about the laboratories and their equipment.

Under the supervision of young faculty members Aytac Cavadova and Lalə Rəsulova, students were actively engaged in experimental processes. The seminar was met with great enthusiasm, and participants’ questions were addressed in detail.

It was noted that such initiatives play an important role in bridging theoretical knowledge with practical application, fostering scientific thinking, and encouraging greater interest in natural sciences among school students.
