Organized by the Department of Economics of Mingachevir State University, a seminar titled “The Importance of Personal Branding in Career Development” was delivered by Shamsiyya Abbasova, Sales and Marketing Specialist at “Zafar Baghlari” LLC.

The main purpose of the seminar was to enhance students’ awareness of personal development in the modern labor market, professional image building, strengthening communication skills, and the impact of personal branding on career opportunities.

During the event, participants were provided with detailed information on the concept of personal branding, principles of building a professional image, methods of individual promotion on digital platforms, and the advantages created by personal branding in the modern labor market. In addition, special emphasis was placed on the importance of communication skills, leadership qualities, building public reputation, and the effective use of social media tools in successful career development.

Shamsiyya Abbasova shared practical examples based on real professional experience with participants, while challenges encountered in the process of building a personal brand, individual positioning strategies, and effective approaches applied in this field were widely discussed.

During the seminar, students’ questions were answered, and practical recommendations were presented regarding career planning, professional development, effective self-presentation, and increasing competitive advantage in the labor market.
