Organized by the Department of Economics of Mingachevir State University, a training titled “The Person Behind the CV” was delivered by Aysel Azimova, Leading Specialist in Human Resources and Administrative Affairs at “Zafar Baghlari” LLC.

The main purpose of the training was to increase students’ awareness of the modern labor market requirements, develop their practical skills, improve their preparedness for recruitment processes, and support their more effective integration into the professional world.

Within the framework of the event, participants were provided with comprehensive information on the main stages of the recruitment process in the modern labor market, key aspects to consider in CV preparation, and criteria for evaluating candidates’ personal and professional qualities. The trainer presented successful CV examples and highlighted the key skills and competencies that employers prioritize in candidates.

During the training, practical recommendations were shared regarding effective communication during job interviews, self-presentation skills, principles of professional conduct, and the role of an individual approach in career development. In addition, broad discussions were held on increasing competitiveness in the labor market, students’ adaptation to the professional environment, professional development opportunities, and the main directions of successful career planning.

The interactive training was attended by the university’s academic staff and students. During the event, students’ questions were answered, discussions were conducted based on real workplace experiences, and practical approaches to career development were shared with participants.
