A training session on “Development of Family Farms” was held at Mingachevir State University.
Organized within the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the main objective of the training was not only to enhance participants’ theoretical knowledge but also to develop their practical skills in managing family farms.
During the training, participants became familiar with the key principles of family farm management, learned ways to use available resources more efficiently, and gained new approaches to planning agricultural activities.
Important topics such as financial literacy, proper cost calculation, and alternative income-generating activities were also explained. It was emphasized that these competencies enable more systematic management of farms and more accurate risk assessment.
In addition, issues such as analyzing market demand, developing product sales strategies, and increasing competitiveness were widely discussed.
Through practical tasks and real-life examples, participants improved their ability to apply the knowledge they had gained. The training also contributed to expanding experience-sharing and fostering collaboration among participants.
As a result, the training equipped participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to manage family farms more effectively, increase profitability, and operate in line with sustainable development principles.
