Presentation Ceremony of the “Martyrs Never Die…” Project Held at Mingachevir State University

The presentation ceremony of the documentary film prepared within the framework of the “Martyrs Never Die…” project was held at Mingachevir State University. The project is a winner of the grant competition announced by the Youth Foundation of the Republic of Azerbaijan within the framework of the “Year of Constitution and Sovereignty.”

The event took place on December 21, 2025, in the assembly hall of Mingachevir State University and was attended by families of martyrs, members of the university’s academic and administrative staff, students, and invited guests. Within the framework of the project, a documentary film dedicated to the life and heroic path of martyr Oruj Najafli was prepared and presented to the audience.

The presentation ceremony was moderated by the project coordinator Aynur Araz, who noted that the main objective of the project is to convey the life stories of Azerbaijani martyrs to future generations, preserve the chronicles of their heroism, and further strengthen the spirit of patriotism among young people.

Speaking at the event, the martyr’s mother Flora Najafli shared memories about her son’s honorable life, his devotion to the homeland, and the courage he demonstrated during the battles. She emphasized that preserving the memory of the martyrs brings great moral consolation to their families.

The head of the Student Patriotic Development Center of Mingachevir State University, Minaya Huseynova, highlighted that such initiatives play an important role in strengthening patriotic values among young people, promoting statehood values, and fostering national consciousness.

Project leader Emil Shukurov spoke about the preparation process of the documentary film, the research conducted, and the goals of the project, emphasizing its moral and social significance. He noted that the “Martyrs Never Die…” project is an important initiative aimed at preserving the memory of national heroes.

At the end of the event, the documentary film dedicated to martyr Oruj Najafli was screened. The film was received with great interest and emotional reactions from the participants. The event concluded with a commemorative group photo.
