At Mingachevir State University, a group of staff members and students who actively participated in organizing events and initiatives aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) were awarded certificates of appreciation.
During the award ceremony, the importance of efforts aimed at promoting a culture of sustainable development within the university was highlighted. Particular emphasis was placed on expanding green campus initiatives, implementing environmental awareness activities, and strengthening the values of social responsibility.
It was noted that broadening activities in line with the SDGs and ensuring the active engagement of both students and staff in these processes are essential for building a sustainable university model.
The certificates of appreciation were presented by Natavan Namazova, Head of the SDG Team at MSU and Vice-Rector for Science and Innovation. In her speech, she подчеркнула the significance of active participation by staff and students in advancing the university’s sustainable development agenda.
