On May 1–2, 2026, section meetings were organized at Mingachevir State University within the framework of the Republican Scientific Conference dedicated to the 103rd anniversary of the birth of National Leader Heydar Aliyev.
In accordance with the conference program, discussions covering various scientific fields were held during the section meetings. In the sessions, particularly within the “Education and Humanities” section, comprehensive scientific analyses of Heydar Aliyev’s legacy were presented in the context of statehood philosophy, education strategy, language policy, preservation of national and moral values, and modern development models.
During the section meetings, a total of more than 390 articles and theses were presented by scholars and researchers representing over 30 higher education institutions and research organizations across the country. The presentations demonstrated scientific approaches to current issues in political, economic, and humanitarian fields, while discussions and exchanges of views were conducted based on diverse perspectives.
Within the framework of the meetings, the practical significance of the scientific results presented, as well as the possibilities for applying Heydar Aliyev’s legacy in the modern era, were particularly emphasized. It was noted that such scientific platforms play an important role in promoting national statehood ideas, engaging young researchers in scientific activities, and expanding inter-university academic cooperation.
