Contribution of Partnerships with More Than 450 Organisations to Graduates’ Career Opportunities Highlighted at Mingachevir State University’s Graduation Day

As previously reported, Mingachevir State University (MSU) held its Graduation Day ceremony for the graduates of the 2025/2026 academic year in a highly organised and festive atmosphere. Reflecting the University’s student-centred approach, cooperation with the business community and long-standing alumni traditions, the event brought together hundreds of graduates.

Rector of MSU Anar Eminov congratulated the graduates on entering a new stage of their lives and emphasised that the knowledge and skills they had acquired at the University would play an important role in their future professional careers. It was noted that the educational, innovative and labour-market-oriented initiatives implemented at MSU contribute to preparing students as professionals who meet the demands of the modern labour market.

The Rector also stated that, during the current academic year, the relevant structural units of Mingachevir State University had taken important strategic steps to further strengthen cooperation with the business community and expand international relations. University–industry cooperation is being successfully continued to support the employment of graduates and develop new partnerships. He further noted that the agreements concluded within the framework of university–industry cooperation and the establishment of strategic relations with more than 450 companies and organisations would contribute both to improving the quality of education and to aligning curricula more closely with the needs of industry.

During the ceremony, graduates who had distinguished themselves in education, research, sports, public activity and volunteering were presented with awards, and their achievements throughout university life were specially recognised. The Graduation Day programme continued with various musical performances, artistic compositions and entertaining presentations. Participants had the opportunity to relive the most memorable moments of their student years and meet their teachers and friends once again.

As another successful example of MSU’s cooperation with the industrial and business sectors, the event was organised with sponsorship support from the University’s partners, Bakcell and Slavyanka. The support provided by the partner companies was regarded as a contribution to the social well-being of students and graduates, the enrichment of university life and the further development of university–industry cooperation.

Guests attending the event highly appreciated the activities carried out at MSU to expand cooperation with the business community, support students’ professional development and ensure the successful integration of graduates into the labour market. They also emphasised the importance of further strengthening cooperation in these areas in the future.

Mingachevir State University once again congratulates all its graduates on this significant occasion and wishes them every success in their future education and careers.
