Rector

Anar Eminov, the Rector of Mingachevir State University, was born in 1982 in Sumgayit, Azerbaijan. From 1999 to 2003, he completed his bachelor’s degree in “International Trade” at Azerbaijan State University of Economics, graduating with honors.

He continued his education in Turkey, where he completed his Master’s program in International Business Management at Ege University and Dokuz Eylul University between 2003 and 2006. Additionally, from 2006 to 2010, he pursued legal studies at Western University, and in 2025, he completed an advanced management course at the University of London.

Anar Eminov earned his PhD in Economics in 2012 and was awarded the academic title of Associate Professor in 2016. He is the author of nearly 200 scientific articles, 5 textbooks, and 1 monograph.

In 2018, he served as the Vice Rector of Azerbaijan Tourism and Management University, and in 2023, he worked as the Head of the Research and Development Department and Director of the Higher Education Institute at Azerbaijan Technical University.

Anar Eminov also has extensive scientific and pedagogical experience in the fields of investment project efficiency and social sector research.

By the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated April 9, 2025, he was appointed as the Rector of Mingachevir State University.
