An awareness-raising event aimed at promoting environmental responsibility and increasing attention to environmental protection among students was held at Mingachevir State University. Organized by the CreART Club, the initiative included a plastic waste collection activity in the university courtyard along with a creative master class using art materials.

Within the framework of the event, students were informed about the importance of protecting the environment, the impact of plastic waste on nature, and the necessity of proper waste management. Participants also engaged in creative activities, producing various artistic works inspired by environmental themes.

During the master class, particular attention was given to fostering environmentally conscious attitudes, reducing waste, and encouraging the efficient use of resources through creative expression. Students highlighted that art and creativity can play an important role in conveying messages about environmental protection and raising public awareness.

It should be noted that Mingachevir State University regularly organizes various awareness-raising and creative initiatives aimed at strengthening students’ environmental awareness, promoting responsible consumption habits, and encouraging young people’s active participation in social initiatives.
