The implementation of the “Know Yourself, Contribute to Society” project, which won the “Grants in Education” competition announced by the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, has started in the Oghuz region. The initiative belongs to Emil Shukurov, a student of Mingachevir State University.

Within the framework of the project, a presentation event was held at the Khachmaz village secondary school of Oghuz district. During the event, the school principal Aynura Safarova, school psychologist Aynur Rasulova, and the project expert Aynur Guliyeva provided participants with detailed information about the objectives and tasks of the project.

It was noted that the main goal of the initiative is to support the development of students’ scientific, creative, and social skills, as well as to contribute to the formation of their national and moral values, civic responsibility, and modern life skills.

Within the framework of the project, various awareness meetings, seminars based on modern teaching methods, creative activities, and events aimed at increasing social responsibility will be organized for students. The phased implementation of the program will help improve the quality of the educational process at the school and develop students’ leadership, communication, and critical thinking skills.

At the same time, cooperation is planned with the Oghuz District Creativity Center and the Oghuz District Youth House. Through this collaboration, students will participate in various practical activities, enhance their creative abilities, and increase their socio-cultural engagement.

It should be noted that at the end of the project, students will present their works and an analytical report on the implemented activities will be prepared. The results obtained are expected to be used to further improve the educational and upbringing process in the future.
